History and Appreciation of Antiques: Tartanware and Tunbridge

Study material culture and its impact on society through the history and appreciation of antiques. The class features hands-on examination of artifacts and explores the sociological, economic, historical and political impact of these relics on the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, as well as their implications for today and tomorrow.

Classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays with each day offering two options for class times.

The morning class meets from 9:30 a.m. – Noon and the afternoon class runs 1:30 – 4 p.m.

February 14 & 16 – Tartanware and Tunbridge

A single class drop-in fee will be applied should you not want to purchase for the whole month. The drop-in fee for DCHS members is $15/class, and for non-members is $20/class. If you’d like to receive a discount on class fees you can pay for a whole month’s set of classes, $32/DCHS members and $64/non-members.
