Douglas County Historical Society Annual Garage Sale!

The wait is over, we’ve officially secured a location and set the dates for this year’s Douglas County Historical Society Garage Sale!

Join us September 17–20 at 2566 Leavenworth Street, where we’ll be transforming a beautiful historic building into a treasure hunter’s paradise! We can’t wait to share more about this incredible building and its fascinating history in the coming weeks.

Make sure you follow us on our social media platforms & subscribe to our newsletter!

We’re still putting the finishing touches on our donation drop-off schedule, so stay tuned! We’ll announce those details soon.

In the meantime, now is the perfect time to start setting aside your gently used treasures!

Household items, home décor, books, collectibles, vintage finds, and more are all welcome. Every donation helps make this community favorite a success, and every purchase helps support the Douglas County Historical Society’s mission to preserve and share the rich history of our community.

Please note: We are unable to accept clothing, cribs, car seats, mattresses, or upholstered furniture.

Thank you for supporting local history through one of our favorite fundraisers of the year.

We can’t wait to see you September 17–20!
