What an incredible four days.

Our Annual Garage Sale has officially come to a close, and we are absolutely overwhelmed by the support we received this year.

To everyone who came from Omaha and the surrounding communities to shop, browse, treasure hunt, tell a friend, share our posts, and support the Douglas County Historical Society, THANK YOU.

This year’s sale was our highest attended Annual Garage Sale yet, and that simply would not have happened without this community showing up for us.

But before a single shopper ever walked through the doors, there were countless people behind the scenes making it possible.

To everyone who donated items, thank you for trusting us with your treasures and giving them an opportunity to find a new home.

To our incredible volunteers, there truly aren’t enough words. You collected, sorted, priced, organized, staged, carried, worked the sale, answered questions, packed boxes, and did about a hundred other things in between. This event takes an enormous amount of work, and you showed up again and again.

We could not have done this without you!

And to everyone who shopped, every purchase you made did more than send you home with a great find. Your support helps DCHS continue our work to preserve and enliven the history of Douglas County.

More than 10,000 items. Four very busy days. Our highest attendance yet. And one community that showed up in a BIG way.
