Join us for a festive and fascinating presentation with Dr. Kyle Chattleton, Public Historian and Manager of Volunteer & Public Programs at The Durham Museum. Dr. Chattleton brings deep experience in public history—having led over 2,000 tours for more than 30,000 visitors at Monticello and sharing his research at national conferences including the Society for Ethnomusicology and the International Association for the Study of Popular Music.
Originally from Southern California, Dr. Chattleton holds degrees from Chapman University and the University of Virginia, where he earned his PhD in 2022 while studying the history of local protests and sound in Charlottesville.
